You Sit On A Throne of Lies
Jack visited Santa last weekend...and it was not pretty. Luckily we had an appointment so no lines, no waiting and the entire thing took less than a minute. As soon as I picked him up from Santa's lap he was happy again, even blowing Santa kisses goodbye. He is such a sweet boy. He just gets a little scared, but really, who wouldn't! It's a super weird custom we have to sit our child on a stranger's lap and expect them to pose for pictures.

ReplyDeleteI love the title of this post! Yeah, I couldn't even get my little dude to sit on Santa's lap--he had a death grip on my shirt and tried to climb up my head every time I tried :/
ReplyDeleteSo cute! It is weird, I never thought about that way until this year with Amelia. I was like no wonder these kids are scared! I gave Santa fruit snacks though and she totally changed her demeanor. Hah! She loves fruit snacks! Our moms group hires a Santa and throws a little party each year for picture taking. I hope we never stop because I don't ever want to wait in those crazy mall lines!!!
