My {Hypothetical} Christmas Wishlist :: Ideas for You Too!

In case you are stumped on the Christmas list ideas for you or your BFF, here are a few things on my wishlist this year.  I'm not really sure who I'm expecting to give me these items, since the majority of our families are opting out of traditional gift giving for White Elephant type exchanges in an effort to control the chaos, but I digress. 

It's just a fun little list of things I would love to have in my dreams!

 

 

Kendra Scott {anything}

We all know I love anything KS, but boy do I LOVE the drusy items from the Glam Rocks collection especially the {all pictured above} Gold Drusy Ellie Stud Earrings, Ella Ring in Gold Drusy, Arden Bracelet in Bronze Drusy, and Cathy Earrings ...pretty much anything gold or bronze drusy!
 

 

 

Cozy Scarf - Popcorn Stitch Infinity Scarf in Ivory

I just love this scarf and feel like it will go with everything I own...what a great price too!

 

Fit Bit Flex

I so don't need this as I already have a FitBit, but it's one that clips on your pants or bra.  I love it so much, but am ready to upgrade to the Flex which also tracks your sleep.  Plus, I'd prefer to wear on my wrist!  This was one of the best gifts I received last year from my mom.  If you are stumped for a gift for someone - go with a FitBit!

Blog reviews on this jacket are so amazing!  My friend Meagan says it's even better in person and so, so soft. 
 

Philosophy Skincare Set - Miracle Worker Here or Here

Getting old stinks and I was not kind to my skin with the sun and tanning beds.  I really love the Miracle Worker line from Philosophy, but am running out of my samples.

Too Faced La Belle Carousel

I just love this holiday set!  It comes with 3 different eye shadow palettes, 2 blush/bronzer combos and my fave mascara.

I think I've sen Sheaffer wear this neckalce one too many times so I now feel like I need it too! 

And when in doubt, giftcards are the best...you can never go wrong {asking or giving} a giftcard in my opinion.  Nordstrom, Starbucks and Kendra are all great ways to go!

Birthday/Mother's Day Wishlist

With Mother's Day and my birthday just 2 days apart this year, Jason has his work cut out for him!  I'm kidding.  After Jack's 1st birthday blowout all I want is some quiet time with my family. 

But for fun, I thought I would throw together a wish list of sorts!  You know those things that would be nice if you had a million dollars...

New Pair of Sunnies - Original Wayfarer Classic in Tortoise
The small size of the "new" version that I currently have is not quite big enough for my round(er) face at the moment!  Needing an upgrade!  These monogrammed ones are super fun too.


 

 

New Scent - Harvey Prince Journey Perfume
I fell in love with this perfume after receiving it in a Birchbox.  I'm so bummed that my sample size is all gone!  I've been dropping hints to Jason about this perfume for a month so hopefully he has caught on!

Pamper please - Laura Mercier Creme de Pistache Perfume and anything from that fragrance line!
I don't know what it is about pistachio right now, but I'm obsessed!  Dove just came out with a Pistachio Creme bar soap and body wash.  I have both and can't get enough.  I've heard nothing but good things about the Creme de Pistache line by Laura Mercier...I've also heard it's hard to find in stores - at least in Houston. 

 

 

New Read - New Emily Giffin Book - Coming May 20, 2014
Emily Giffin is one of my favorite authors and her new book is set to release soon!  Perfect pool read.

New Body - Pure Barre DVD Set
Even though there is a perfectly good Pure Barre Studio minutes from my house there are days when I just can't leave the house with Jack or don't get a spare moment to work out until after 9pm.  Having a workout that I know I love might help motivate me on those days!

New Look - Kendra Scott anything!
No birthday is complete without a little Kendra.  That's my motto anyway.  I love the orange Elle earrings for summer!

Wednesday Wishlist: Workout Gear

 

In honor of me getting my post baby body back on track {this morning at 5:30 a.m. to be exact @ Pure Barre}, I'm wishing for new workout gear today. 

 

 

Top Row:

• Forme Jacket - Great jacket to wear over your workout tanks.  Mama has to hide those post-pregnancy rolls when out in public!  I love the long arms, cuffins and lots of stretch. 
• Ta Ta TamerII - I've never needed a "high support" bra until now since I'm nursing.  Much needed. 
• Wunder Under Crop - If you have never worn Lululemon, this is a great item to start with.  They feel amazing and hold you in.  I wear these all the time around the house..even when not working out. 

Middle Row: 

• Modern Racerback - these tanks are awesome.  I own several and love how long they are.  You will never worry about your shirt coming up when doing different yoga poses
• Bang Buster Headband - I haven't tried this headband yet, but have heard awesome things
• No Limits Tank - these tanks are super comfy and very forgiving

Bottom Row:

• Heart Opener Tank - this tank looks cute and would be easy to nurse in post workout
• Studio Starre Sock - perfect sock for barre method classes!  I love that when you fold them over they say "Feel the Burn" and "Nice Shaking".  Perfect stocking stuffer Jason!
• Pure Balance Sweater - A comfy item to throw on before and after the gym

Wishlist Wednesday: Splurges

Due to a crazy day at work (hello 4 hour meeting), personally (I forgot parts of my breast pump) and at home (hello burst pipe and emergency water shut-off), I'm sorry I can't add more to this post, but I think this bag is fabulous enough to stand alone. 

I am soooooo in love with the color and style of this Tory Tote.  My mom and I are always on the search for the perfect nude bag and this one fits the bill.  We actually saw it in person a few weeks ago and it's stunning.  I didn't even think the price is that bad for a large Tory...right Santa?

For today's wishlist, I'm talking about mugs I love and want!  I think a mug is a great gift idea, especially when you fill it with a little happy...a sweet treat, hot chocolate mix, Starbucks giftcard or even some cozy socks for the ultimate pamper party.  Most people find comfort in their favorite cup of coffee or tea.  Make it that much more special for them with something new to sip from.

Wishlist Wednesday

I'm jumping on the blogger bandwagon for Wishlist Wednesday.  What is on your current wishlist? 

1.  Ergo Baby Carrier - I registered for a Baby Bjorn without giving it much thought.  It seemed reasonably priced and very popular.  After using it a lot since Jack can now hold his head up and I like to baby wear when we are out, I've come to learn that not all baby carriers are created equal.  The Baby Bjorn Air that we own cuts into Jack's legs and leaves him with harsh red marks and cuts.  I also just read an article about the dangers of wearing a baby facing forward, but that's another topic.  I did a quick, non-scientific poll on Facebook and 97% of the responses said to get an Ergo.  Where have I been? 

2.  New pair of Toms - I own one pair of Toms and absolutely adore them.  Unfortunately I wore mine on a rainy day last weekend and they got covered in mud.  I've washed them several times already, but they are permanently brown.  Time for a new pair...I'm going with black this time!

3.  Sparkly Sweatshirt - These just look cozy and cute!  Gap has a version for $44.95 (currently offering 30% off online only using code GAPNEW).  Old Navy has a cute gold version on sale for $17.00.

4.  Spanx "Ready to Wow" Structured Leggings - These leggings are supposed to hold in your midsection really well and are thick enough to not bee see through.  Perfect for my post-baby body this winter!

5.  Eye Hope - the name says it all and I've heard great things!
