16 Weeks...Belize Edition!

How far along: 16 weeks
Size of Baby P:  4.57 inches, 3.53 ounces (according to Pregnancy App)
Fruit/vegetable comparison (according to Baby Center):  Avocado (but we couldn't find one in Belize, so we used a comparable sized coconut we found on the beach)
Gender:  Don't know just yet
Showing: Yes!
Maternity clothes:  100% Maternity pants and 70/30 in tops and dresses.
Unglamorous body changes:  Just continuing to get bigger
Sleep:  Great
Movement:  Not many
Food cravings: No specific cravings this week.  I'm just constantly thirsty and get hungry more often than I used to.  Snacks are key!
Anything making you queasy or sick: No!
Wedding rings on or off: On
Mood: Still all over the place. I've been a little testy too...sorry friends and family
Best moment this week:  This week Jason and I traveled to Belize for a vacation.  Week 16 was filled with lots of great moments from getting tons of sleep, long walks on the beach and just "checking out."
Strange experiences:  Wearing a bathing suit while pregnant.  Since I'm showing and purchased some maternity swimsuits that were essentially "tankinis" it was strange to be beaching it without worrying about sucking in my stomach or watching the carbs.  I made sure to touch my stomach a lot when people saw me so they knew I was pregnant and not just letting it all hang out!
Milestones:  First travel experience while pregnant
Looking forward to:  Finding out the gender!  We plan to learn the gender at week 20 so we are very close.  I'm also looking forward to feeling kicks and having Jason be able to feel them too.

Thoughts:
We are just back from vacation and had a great time.  It's time to start thinking about Christmas...ugh the stress!  Jason and I live in a "Four Christmas" family so this time of year brings on major stress for me from all the gifts to buy, the financial stress of it all and calendering all of the holiday obligations.  I say this every year, but I really hope to stop stressing and remember the true meaning of Christmas.  Plus, I want to really try to enjoy our last Christmas of just us two.  Everything will be so different next year!
