Note to self: although comfy and cute, maxi dresses are not ideal for sideways pictures! I look like a whale. This was also taken after a very long day and a long car ride. |
How far along: 33 weeks (technically these pictures were taken at barely 34 weeks, but the update is about Week 33)!
Size of Baby P: 17.20 inches, 4.23 pounds (according to Pregnancy App)
Fruit/vegetable comparison: Honeydew (for weeks 33-36)
Gender: Boy
Showing: Yes
Maternity clothes: Yes...and even these are starting to get tighter!
Unglamorous body changes: Swelling is starting to get worse
Sleep: Not good. Between heartburn, peeing and just generally being uncomfortable I'm not getting much sleep. Then when I can't fall asleep fast enough, my anxiety flares up...poor Jason! I now wake him up in the middle of the night with my random worries. Last night I woke him up at 2am in a panic that we don't have enough newborn size clothes. He is so sweet and just calmly said, let's wait to see what we get at our showers and then we will reassess. Ugghh...worries!
Movement: Really hard kicks. I think Jack is out of room and uncomfortable too.
Food cravings: Still lots of ice water, rainbow sherbet, cookies and grilled cheese...healthy!
Anything making you queasy or sick: No
Anything making you queasy or sick: No
Wedding rings on or off: On, but getting tighter. I'm currently only wearing my engagement ring. My "stack" of bands is a little too uncomfortable.
Mood: Okay, my lack of sleep is affecting my mood a bit...my mother would say my mood is terrible!
Best moment this week: Celebrating Jason's birthday and being showered with so much love by friends and family the past week...we received gifts from one of Jason's coworkers, a neighborhood group I belong to and just had a shower in Jason's hometown on Saturday. We are definitely feeling lots of love and support these days.

Strange experiences: Nothing specific...just knowing that little man will be here so soon!
Milestones: Baby can now tell the difference between day and night. His lungs are almost completely ready for breathing on their own.
Looking forward to: Seeing Ashley this weekend and celebrating her pregnancy!!!!
Thoughts: I'm too hormonal to think right now! We are excited and anxious, but I'm also stressed to get everything done in a month while working and keeping up with life. I know April is going to FLY by since we have so much going on!!!!
