Happy Friday and Hello Three Day Weekend! Jack has been a little under the weather the past few days which I knew would happen since he just started school - hello germs - so we plan to take it easy and rest as much as possible!
Lots of links today and no pictures. My aching back and giant belly are screaming at me to lay down and stop blogging...
ONE
Since it's September it's perfectly acceptable to start burning the pumpkins candles and I love it! I picked up several Vanilla Pumpkin Marshmallow candles and Sweet Cinnamon Pumpkin Hand Soap from Bath & Body Works last weekend and have been burning them each evening. We are loving it and now I'm craving my Pumpkin Chocolate Chip Cookies!
TWO
I snuck off to Old Navy this week to try on this swing dress. I wasn't sure if it would work for with my bump since it isn't' maternity, but I suspected it would and was right! The solid colors weren't very flattering with a huge bump, but the stripe was a winner! Major recommendation for anyone - pregnant or not. Looks cute now with flats or booties and later with leggings and tall boots.
THREE
I'm on a major Moroccanoil kick lately. I haven't tried a product yet that I don't love including the Hydrating Shampoo/Conditioner and Medium Hold Hairspray. And for a little pampering, the Dry Body Oil is awesome to spray on after a shower!
Sorry that most of the links are for travel sizes, it's all Nordstrom has currently. I purchased my products at a local salon. You can also try Amazon!
FOUR
Tomorrow we are going to try and get a few sneak peeks of Baby Colin at a 3D Ultrasound. Hopefully he will cooperate. This is a totally unnecessary thing to do, but we did it with Jack and were amazed at the images. We are going to take Jack with us and see if that helps him make a connection that there is a baby in my tummy. I'll report back!
FIVE
And last but not least, it's getting time for scarf weather. Scarf swap time?
...I think so! I'll be bringing back The Perfect Catch Scarf Swap again this year, but plan to do it a little earlier than last year just in case baby boy comes sooner than expected at the end of October. I will have all the details on how to sign up and what's involved next week! Hope you will participate!

Good to know on that swing - I have the short sleeved version and it's amazing. Heck, I'm wearing it today! Put me down for the scarf swap too! :)
ReplyDeleteI just tried Moroccan oil shampoo and conditioner and I am HOOKED. Even my husband said he could tell how much softer my hair was!
ReplyDeleteLove that you found a great dress at Old Navy--that place is either hit or miss a lot of the time
We've been burning our pumpkin candles too! Our favorites are leaves, pumpkin pie, and pumpkin pecan waffle..the house smells just like fall. I had my first pumpkin recipe on the blog this week too. Fall is the best! Your blog is so cute, this is my first time visiting, popping over from H54F! Have a wonderful weekend!

My favorite part about Fall is all of the Bath and Body Works fall scented stuff! It's never to early to start using them!
ReplyDeleteLooking forward to participating in the scarf swap again; I'll have to start looking!! And thanks for the recommendation on the dress. Since I'm working again I really need to get some more "dress" clothes.
ReplyDeleteI bought the swing dress last week in the Aggie maroon stripe! It's fabulous! And I agree - the solid was no bueno. Have a great weekend!
ReplyDeleteI was just thinking about the scarf swap! Happy to help out if you need an extra brain!
