My First Shower

I had my first wedding shower this past Saturday in Jason's hometown. My mom and I drove up for the event and I was so excited I could barely stand it. It was hosted by Susie (mother of the groom), Jeanna (sister of the groom and MOH), and Nannie (grandmother of the groom). Others in attendance were Jason's aunts, cousin, friends, Grandmother, Stepmom, and sister. We had a great time-here are a few pics of the day.

Jason and I are so blessed to have received so many wonderful presents from our family and friends.

I had so much fun at my first wedding shower! It was so neat to drive up to Jason's hometown with my mom, who had never been there and hang out with the girls of Jason's family. The shower made the wedding and our marriage feel even more real than it has before.

I can't wait for the Houston shower that my aunt and cousin are throwing for me in April. Next on the horizon...engagement pics!
