Five on Friday

THE GOOD LIFE BLOG
Hooray for Friday!  What are your plans this weekend?  I plan to spend time with my family, attend our church's fall festival and hopefully fit in a much needed pedicure.

Who is ready for trick-or-treaters?  Halloween is less than one week away!  We are very ready to pass out candy over at our house and see our little boy and pup all dressed up.

Have you heard of Elfster.com?  I hadn't until just a few days ago.  My girlfriends and I from the Junior League do an annual cookie exchange party in December and decided to do a Secret Santa this year instead of an Ornament Exchange.  Elfster randomly selects your secret santa and allows you to make a wishlist so you can get something you are sure to like.  It's a really fun site!

I just updated the About Me section of the blog including links to my most popular posts.  If you are new to the blog check it out and get caught up.  And thanks for stopping by...be sure to say hello so I can check out your blog too!

If you live in Houston, are you buying a Holiday Shopping Card?  I think I am going to purchase one just for carseats!

I saw this cartoon earlier this week somewhere.  Can anyone else relate?  Obviously my house isn't quite so crazy since we only have one little guy, but it does take me significnatly longer to get ready each morning since I have someone else to clothe and feed.  Too funny!

  1. I need a pedicure too, but it is so hard to justify since no one will see it, haha. Rice Village is all decked out and ready for Holiday Shopping Card shoppers. If I could get my act together to buy Christmas gifts, I would totally get one but I am just not that with it! And that secret Santa site looks awesome. I may suggest it to my coworkers! Have a great weekend!
