Tuesday Ramblings

I hope everyone had a great weekend and survived Monday. There are a lot of sleepy Houstonians out there today since the Texans game didn't start until 9:30 last night! 

-  I intended on linking up with the Kid Tested, Mom Approved Link-Up Party today, but the topic today is about kid friendly food.  Since Jack isn't quite there yet I have nothing to offer this one (boo), but I am looking forward to getting lots of great ideas from everyone!  I already read a great post today from Vanessa about muffin tin meatloaf!!!

- Jack is feeling much better from his shots on Friday. This weekend was rough though. I'm not gonna lie.

- Studio Ainsley, our go-to family photographer did a photo session with Jack on Sunday morning. Luckily he felt good enough to smile for a few pics! I haven't seen the images yet, but know they will be amazing. Bowties were involved!

-  Go Texans!  So happy we won last night!  The entire house dressed in our Texans gear yesterday evening (including Tucker) even though Jason was the only one who made it through the entire game.  Who thought a 9:30 pm start time was a good idea?

-  Apple should be announcing their new iPhone today.  Mine is so old I can't find a case for it anymore.  Kind of excited about the rumors of a gold phone.  I'm currently following a live feed from the announcement.  Can we say loser...

-  The weather is dreary in Houston today.  I love it...it may not feel like Fall, but it just looks cooler today...I can smell the pumpkin spice, Fall is so close!

-  I discovered some life-changing nursing bras yesterday at an amazing store in Houston.  I'm so mad at myself for not visiting this place sooner.  In the case of nursing bras, I have to say that Target (gasp) is not the way to go.  It's so important to get fitted properly and get advice from the experts.  I can't wait to post soon about my experience at A Woman's Work.  If you are expecting or nursing and live in Houston, stop what you are doing and go see them.  If you are not in Houston, I urge you to find a nursing shop near you!  Feel free to ask me any questions about this.
