Five on Friday :: What a Week...#Reallife

ONE

I shared all about Jack's fractured leg in my last post.  You think that was the end of it?  No way.  So after Jack got his blue cast on his leg from the knee down it didn't take him but 24 hours to wiggle out of it. 

 

We were back at the doctor on Wednesday getting another cast {this time we opted for red}.  So he wouldn't mess this one up it had to be casted all the way up his thigh.  He was yet again so brave and the perfect little patient.  The cast looks so much worse now and I now it can't be comfortable for him.  The first day {pictured below} he just wanted to be still laying in bed or being wheeled around in his stroller.  By the very next day he was crawling and butt-scooting all over the house!

On a happier note for Jack, we've learned that he loves to dance, but it has to be for the right song.  Children's songs like Mickey Mouse won't cut it.  As his nanny has discovered he loves Reggaeton including Daddy Yankee and also loves Pitbull.  Ha!

TWO

Because of the combination of stress this week and leftover Halloween candy I'm pretty sure I've eaten my weight in Snickers and Milky Way bars. 

THREE

We are taking some family pictures this weekend for Christmas cards.  Nothing major - just a super quick mini session with our fave photographer Maca of Studio Ainsley.  It's for Studio Ainsley's annual Jingle Jammies shoot so Jack will be sporting some cute PJ's...and a cast.  At least it's red!

FOUR

I'm obsessed with this new Hello Apparel Buffalo Check Sweatshirt.  There is also a matching kiddo tee.  I LOVE Hello Apparel sweatshirts.  They are so, so comfy and the perfect weight.  I just feel guilty paying $50 for a sweatshirt before Christmas...especially since I would "need" to buy the matching boy tee for $24 for my little broken leg boy. 

FIVE

I attempted a little Pinterest Dupe yesterday.  I wore black leggings with a black tunic and a gray ombre scarf, brown riding boots and Kendra Scott Sky Earrings in Slate.  Of course I don't look near as good as the original {or as skinny} but overall, I loved the outfit!
